Specialized Sleep Consulting (SSC) was started by Lindsay Yeager, RPSGT, CCSH, to provide innovative solutions and programming for sleep medicine programs, as well as education and support for future sleep technologists through personalized and private tutoring services.

Student Tutoring Services

The job demand for Registered Polysomnographic Technologists (RPSGT) is high all over the country, but the limited number of currently registered technologists presents a challenge for employers. Becoming a Registered Polysomnographic Technologist is not easy: in 2023 the fail rate for the exam was 61%. As an experienced A-Step instructor Lindsay has a passion for educating future practitioners to successfully pass their board exam and provide the highest level of care to the patients they'll soon care for. Tutoring is customizable for each student with sessions conducted virtually. Please contact to schedule your free introductory meeting. The initial tutoring package is $175.00, including 2 hours of private instruction and 1 month of access to virtual flashcards through Brainscape. Additional hours of tutoring are $40 per hour. SSC accepts Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover Card, Apple Pay and Venmo payments for tutoring services. SSC and Lindsay Yeager are not responsible for the student's testing outcome. Tutoring should be viewed as a tool to prepare for the exam, but does not replace self study on the part of the student. Tutoring does not guarantee a passing score.
